There are a lot of different statuses that you expect to see when you check on the status of your shipment through whatever system your courier company has in place for checking package status updates. There are a regular few statuses which you might expect to see from your Arkansas delivery service. "Received" "Delivered" or "In transit" are all normal, and probably things which you're quite used to seeing. However, a status that you're not used to, like "Stuck in Transit" can occasionally be cause for quite a bit of concern.
"Stuck in Transit" means that something that the courier hasn't planned on happening has taken place. There are a lot of different things which this might include, and which one is happening right when you get that status update is something which may or may not be reflected unless you speak to your courier directly. However, keep in mind that sometimes drivers don't update the courier company with anything more specific than "stuck in transit" until a few minutes after that status has been posted. However, most individuals choose to give them an hour to see if the status of the package will change before actually contacting the courier directly.
This will be your indication that your package is no longer moving. There are a lot of different things which might make this happen. The most obvious ones seem to be things like flat tires or vehicle accidents, but there are several others as well. For instance, weather can cause a vehicle to have to stop, especially if a road is closed. Also, sometimes packages or vehicles are stopped at customs, which would also stop the package from moving further.
Generally speaking, if your package is stuck in transit for any significant amount of time, you will be contacted somehow by your courier to discuss the situation. They should get in touch to let you know what has happened to your order and how long it will be before you can reasonably expect the package to be on the road again.
Ultimately, although there are a few situations like this which might be the fault of the courier, most events which would cause this are out of their control. It won't usually help you to call a courier and complain that a package is stuck. They are usually going to already be doing everything in their power to get the ball rolling again.
