Are you one to spend as much time outside as you can? Do you like to camp, go hunting, or fishing? When you are outside do you try to make it a week long thing or a week-end thing? This seems to be mostly men and boys that do this. A lot of girls just do not like doing this because they do not like the woods or the fish. Boys like the fun of getting as muddy or as greasy as they can . They do not care if they smell like that fish they just caught or the fact that they are as greasy as the car they just worked on.
Are you a mountain climber or a skier. Maybe a swimmer, surfer or just one that loves to be one with nature. You might be married to one that talks about nothing else but moving to the country to be one with nature. If you were to sit down with your grandfather and ask him about what he did with his dad some of the stories he could tell you. You might find out that they went out every night and shot what they would be having for dinner. You might find out that they took their cattle to market by horse instead of putting them on trains.
Then there are those of you that do not like anything to do with the outdoors. You would rather sit in the house and watch television, read a book, or anything that does not require you to go outside that door. You might find that the guy you married loves to do all of these things and then some. They might get with their fishing buddies to take week long fishing trips or even hunting trips. This would be like going hunting after certain kinds of wild animals or ski trips up high in the mountains. If you do not like doing these things you might be left out in the cold so to speak. You might be spending a lot of time by yourself.
If you want to spend some of this time with your better half than you might want to go on-line to see if there is someplace to go that might be close to the places they are going. You might find some really nice places you can have fun at while they are doing their thing too as well. Staying in a motel would require that you be around other people, but if you really want some private more romantic time, you might try renting a cabin for a few days. This will give you privacy and some time outdoors as well. You could do a few things he likes and something you might enjoy too.
